A lucky Hastings Deering customer was the ultimate winner the other week, taking home Jack Miller’s $90,000 race spec superbike in the parts.cat.com joint promotion with WesTrac.
Adam Joyce and the team at Joyce Mechanical Services in Mackay had luck on their side when they were drawn out as the winners from a pool of over 130,000 combined entries from both Hastings Deering and WesTrac.
Asked what he thought about winning, Adam said “Oh fantastic! Best prize, best news I’ve ever gotten, EVER.”
“We really appreciate it, thank you to Hastings Deering, Caterpillar, Jack, to everyone, it’s an absolutely fantastic prize.”
Sebastian Banks, Hastings Deering Executive General Manager – Construction Industries, made the trip to Mackay to officially hand over the bike.
“It’s such a great result that one of our customers has won Jack Miller's Superbike, his Ducati. This customer of ours has been participating by buying parts off parts.cat.com making their lives easier,” Banks said.
So, what does someone do with Jack Miller’s $90,000 Ducati Superbike? It’s going straight to the boardroom at the Joyce Mechanical Services offices in Mackay, once they figure out how to get it up the stairs!
