HASTINGS DEERING COMMITS TO RESCUE SERVICE FOR A FURTHER THREE YEARS
Today RACQ Capricorn Rescue welcomes industry leader Hastings Deering back on board for a further three years, following a previous one-year commitment from the company as a Lift Off Partner. The renewed sponsorship between the local Rockhampton branch and RACQ Capricorn Rescue will ensure that the service can continue to provide a world class, dedicated aerial search and rescue helicopter with full aeromedical and counter disaster capabilities in the Central Queensland region.
RACQ Capricorn Rescue’s Operations Manager Kirsty Wooler comments “The corporate purpose of Hastings Deering is to deliver a better future for their community. At RACQ CapRescue we value long term relationships and are happy to be partnering with Hastings Deering for the long haul.”
In addition to the three-year partnership, Hastings Deering has demonstrated their support for our Rescue Service in many diverse ways including - contributing through our Workplace Giving Program, supporting fundraising activities among staff and sponsoring the annual Resources Charity Golf Day for which RACQ Capricorn Rescue is the beneficiary.

“With around 600 employees and their families living and working in the Rockhampton Area, we have seen what an essential service RACQ Capricorn Rescue provides,” he said. “It is one of those organisations that you hope you will never need but it is so reassuring knowing it is there.”
As demand for our service increases, corporate partnerships such as this ensures that we are able to continue providing our vital lifesaving service free of charge to the people of Central Queensland.
