Hydraulic levers, directional change lever and steering wheel are conveniently placed and easily reached, thus reducing operator fatigue. Features like cup holder and note pad holder (optional) are now available to suit operators' preference.

EFFORTLESS HYDROSTATIC STEERING
The Caterpillar Lift Trucks' advanced hydrostatic steering system provides effortless steering with no jolting kickbacks. Equipped with steering synchronizer, the positioning of the steered tires relative to that of the steering wheel is fully synchronized. In this new system, components are reduced and the linkage eliminated, resulting in reduced maintenance.

The instrument panel tilts with the steering wheel for sustained visibility and provide easy monitoring, diagnostic and early warnings of problem to promote preventive maintenance.

SOUND AND VIBRATION DAMPING MEASURES
Excessive noise is reduced, subduing a potential source of operator fatigue. Measures adopted include a sound insulating barrier under the engine hood, a rubber floor mat, special vibration engine mount, whisper quiet cooling fan and double insulated muffler. In addition, full floating powerline system is adopted, isolating the operator from the main vibration source.
