Regardless of what Cat equipment you operate, a Customer Support Agreement (CSA) guarantees timely, expert service to keep your machine operating. You have time to run your business while Hastings Deering performs the specialist maintenance and repair jobs on your cat equipment.


From a full Maintenance and Repair Contract (MARC) to a Preventative Maintenance servicing agreement, Hastings Deering has the expertise to maximise equipment productivity and provide the lowest machine operating costs per hour.

Optimum machine availability and reliability

CSAs minimise machine downtime by utilising advanced diagnostic tooling and techniques. Costs are also minimised by:

• Recruiting and retaining qualified, experienced personnel

• Parts inventories, storage and management

• Repair tools, equipment and diagnostics tools

• Workshops, insurance and utilities

Maintenance and Repair contracts (MARC)

Under this CSA option, Hastings Deering will provide the complete maintenance and repair solution for your Caterpillar equipment including:

• All management and planning required to ensure the fleet is available for the planned production

• Supply of technical expertise, supervision, labour, materials and tooling to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain the fleet

• Develop, manage and execute comprehensive programs for preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance

• Analysis of equipment performance and maintenance history to identify and deliver improvements in performance, life costs and reliability
• Supply of all parts, components and machine consumables to get the job done

This type of agreement allows you to concentrate on your core business while Hastings Deering manages your equipment maintenance needs.

With this CSA option, Hastings Deering will provide component management support for your Caterpillar equipment including:

Minor components

• Water pumps

• Front and rear brake groups

• Front and rear suspension groups

• Hydraulic cylinder groups

These components are strategically located at branches throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Preventative Maintenance Service agreement

Hastings Deering On-Site Preventative Maintenance servicing will get your machine running sooner. With 24 hour service,

our Cat trained technicians will perform a comprehensive service and inspection on your machine per the Cat lubrication and maintenance guide.

Specially designed service vehicles deliver clean oil (that complies with Caterpillar’s strict contamination control standards) to your machine and will recover and dispose of the waste oil.

Hastings Deering On-Site PM Service includes:

• Fixed price servicing

• Genuine Cat parts

• Thorough inspection of your machine with a written report

• Genuine Caterpillar lubricant and filters – designed for your machine

• Scheduled Oil Sampling analysis

• Performed per the Caterpillar guidelines

• Basic cleaning of the operator cab

• Cutting and inspection of all oil filters removed during the service

• Sonic - dry air filter cleaning service (available only in Central Qld)
