HASTINGS DEERING LAUNCHES NEW CAT ON-HIGHWAY TRUCK
Hastings Deering Truck Centres has opened a new branch at Richlands in Brisbane
in a move to keep up with their ever expanding trucking business. The fully functional
truck and engine workshop opened in November and has taken over the truck engine
facility that was previously at Hastings Deering, Archerfield.
For over 85 years
Cat machinery has been one of the leading brands in earthmoving machinery. Now Caterpillar
and Navistar have developed the first ever Cat on-highway trucks – the CT610 and
the CT630 to add to the wide range of products available under the Caterpillar name.
The CT610 and CT630 are powered by Cat engines which have a legendary reputation
for reliability, durability and fuel economy. These specially engineered trucks
offer best-in-class fuel economy, unparalleled driver satisfaction, unprecedented
uptime and will deliver low cost of ownership backed by unsurpassed dealer capabilities.

all the right tools for the job. Pre-delivery and accessory fitment for the new
Cat truck will take place at the facility. Cat logistics provides the dealer with
